Publication Ethics

Raqib: Jurnal Studi Islam is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This journal follows ethical publishing principles to ensure the quality, integrity, and credibility of scientific publications.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that:

  • The submitted manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.

  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification.

  • All sources and references are properly cited.

  • Authorship is limited to individuals who have significantly contributed to the research.

  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal simultaneously.

  • Any conflicts of interest related to the research are disclosed.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Evaluating manuscripts based on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Making publication decisions fairly and without discrimination.

  • Preventing conflicts of interest in the editorial process.

  • Taking appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must:

  • Conduct reviews objectively, fairly, and professionally.

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts under review.

  • Provide constructive feedback to improve manuscript quality.

  • Identify relevant published works that have not been cited.

  • Inform the editor of any potential conflicts of interest.

Publication Malpractice

Any form of unethical behavior, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, citation manipulation, and undisclosed conflicts of interest, is unacceptable. The journal reserves the right to reject or retract manuscripts found to violate publication ethics.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity. Final publication decisions are made by the editorial board based on reviewers’ recommendations.
